Ever wonder why your Landing pages are not converting to sales? Sure it is important to target the right Prospects with the right product and offer.
You get that. But are you putting the right type of landing page in front of your Targeted Prospects?
There are 3 Types of Prospects that You Can Target
Cold, warm and hot.
Cold prospects are the people that have no idea who you are and what you stand for.
Warm prospects are people that have been exposed to you, by way of social media, your blog a video, a presentation or email.
A hot prospect is someone that has made a purchase from you or bought something that you have recommended.
Pay close attention so you can get a good understanding of how to create and promote landing pages that convert.
2 Types of Landing Pages
There are basically 2 types of landing pages that convert, also know as lead capture pages.
One is the Basic Landing Page. It consist of:
- A simple headline
- Pre-headline (optional)
- An area that collect prospects name, address, phone (optional)
- Call to action button
The second version is a more detailed Landing Page which consist of:
- A headline (Pre-headline optional)
- A video of you with a message that explains the offer and creates a connection between you and the prospect
- An area to collect contact info
- Bullet points to explain what is on the other side of the capture page once they opt in and the benefits to the prospect
- Call to action button
- Testimonies
The basic landing page is best to use for warm and hot prospects while the more detailed capture page is better for the cold market.
Your warm and hot prospects do not need to be oversold. Keep landing pages simple for them because they already know you. Too much information could be overkill to them and they could feel like you are just trying to sell them something rather than presenting your product or service to help them.
On the other hand, that same more detailed landing page would be perceived differently to your cold market prospects because they need to feel comfortable with you or your offer before they click the call to action button.
Warm and hot prospects just need to be a little curious about what you put in front of them. Be careful not to talk them out of taking a look at what you are directing them to. Get good with your Copywriting Skills and keep your landing pages simple for this market.
Now that you know which Landing pages work best for your targeted prospects, take a look at the generic landing pages that your network marketing company provides for you. Ask yourself, is this page best to show my cold prospect or warm/hot prospects? Review the criteria above as you answer this question.
Network Marketing Company landing pages are not universal for both types of prospects. Most people just promote the same landing page to all of their target prospects and get little results. Those landing pages are usually only best for one type of prospect group. You may need to modify your company’s landing pages by creating your own to attract the right prospects…
