Handling MLM Objections

Today I want to share a quick tip with you that you can apply when Handling MLM Objections.

I know how this can prevent Reps from closing and helping prospects to get their dreams and desires met. If, not dealt with properly.Handle

It is best not to sweep the prospects objection under the carpet by diverting them to another topic.

It is important to deal with the objection head on. Objections blind the prospect in a way that they can only focus on their self imposed objection. Realize that they will not be able understand anything you are sharing with them at that point. No matter how great you are at presenting your biz opp or sharing how your products can benefit them, you might as well be talking to the wall until the objection is satisfied.

Here are 5 Steps to Handling MLM Objections:

  1. Give your undivided and full attention to what the prospect is expressing in the objection.
  2. Repeat back the objection to the prospect to be sure you have a clear understanding as to what the objection is..
  3. Use this verbiage when replying to whatever the objection is:

         “I completely understand your concern.”

This method is sympathetic and your prospect feels a since of trust from you. It’s all about building rapport.

Note: Avoid the response, “ I know how you feel I felt that way too”. If you do this then you are showing agreement with the objection and the prospect will keep focusing on it. The goal is to get him to turn away from the thought that is stopping him from reaching his goal.

  1. In this step of being successful at objection handling in network marketing, you have 2 options:
  • Get the prospect to come up with the solution himself. Very powerful by the way…Accomplish this by asking the prospect questions. Ex. If prospect says, “I don’t have any money to get started”, you can respond: “I completely understand your concern. …. Pause….. If this business could really become a viable avenue for you to get xyz (What ever it is that they want), would you find a way to get the money to get started?

Or…..

  • If you decide to be the one to offer a solution to the objection then it is best to use other people stories or your personal experience to show how that same objection was eliminated. Once the objection is conquered the prospect can remove the blinders and focus on the things to help them to get what they want.
  1. Now it is time to determine if they want to be a customer or build a business. Ask them what they liked best about the mlm exposure you shared with them and proceed to close the deal based on what they said.

By practicing these skills you’ll help the prospect keep their attention on their desires and you’ll be overcoming mlm objections like a pro.
